LabPiQture™ selected as a finalist for the LIDMA Innovation Award
The Life Insurance Direct Marketing Association (LIDMA) recognized the finalists for the fourth annual Innovation Award during their Virtual Mastermind Series hosted October 19-21. This year there was a live People’s Choice voting and the winner was announced “live” during the virtual event. ExamOne’s LabPiQture™ platform was among the finalists.
To be considered for the award, nominees were asked to submit a video, demonstrating an innovative digital solution and how it has changed or improved the life insurance channel. LabPiQture is a service from ExamOne that provides automated access to seven years of clinical laboratory data on an individual for use in insurance underwriting. Individuals must provide authorization for their data to be shared before it is provided through LabPiQture. They may also request an audit for any information as a check on accuracy.
ExamOne congratulates IXN Tech for being chosen as the winner.
Being a finalist once again for the Innovation Award is an acknowledgment of ExamOne’s dedication to providing health and data insights and value-added solutions to our carrier and direct market clients.
“We are honored to be recognized by LIDMA. As the industry has adapted to this new environment, it has been our goal to continue to provide valuable health-based insights to insurers. Through LabPiQture, insurers can continue to evaluate an applicant’s risk and issue policies when the traditional underwriting methods are not available.” said Joey Grant, President of ExamOne.
ExamOne was recognized with the finalists, each of which has developed outstanding processes and methods that are enhancing the industry. They include:
- Human API
- Legal & General
- Lincoln Financial
Some applicants are opting out of the traditional face-to-face exam, and the retrieval of medical records is experiencing delays as well. Through LabPiQture, insurers can still receive the information they need to make quick and confident decisions. “We appreciate that LIDMA and the industry recognized the potential of this innovative platform to help accelerate the risk assessment process and improve consumer experience,” Grant concluded.
